Video Conversion via Presets

Most of today's video conversions are made to adapt the dimensions of a sequence to those of a particular device, such as an iPod or an iPhone, or to reduce its size so that it can be uploaded to the Internet.

Stomp's strong point is the conversion presets that include and, in just a couple of clicks, allow you to convert one or more videos to different formats. If the presets do not fit your needs, you can always create new ones with custom functions. This is the only way to activate the option to cut and select the area of the video that you want to keep.

With support for batch processing, Stomp also allows you to apply filters available to OS X Core Image technology, such as: blur, color adjustments, generators, distortions, and so on. It is also possible to extract audio from a video.

Two free conversion tools for Mac that you can also try are: MPEG Streamclip and ffmpegX.
