Download Inkscape for Ubuntu

Posted By: Pankaj Softmozer - July 11, 2017

A full open source vector graphics editor

Inkscape is a free and open source vector graphics editor that uses SVG format, the W3C standard.

Its features are very similar to the hose included in other applications that are neither free nor open, such as Illustrator, Freehand or CorelDraw. Based heavily on open source standards, the program allows you to import files in JPEG, PNG, TIFF and Postscript formats.

Just by taking a look at the Inkscape interface, you will get a good idea of the large number of tools you have, but it improves as you go deeper. Not only will you find new tools and text effects, but also an instant messaging mini-client designed to facilitate group projects.
