Create, manage and debug launched services

LaunchControl is a full-featured launch GUI that allows you to create, manage and debug system and user services on your Mac.

With LaunchControl you will see all the services and their respective status at a glance. Invalid services are highlighted and a description of the problem is provided. You can enable or disable services with a single click. The same applies to loading, unloading and ad hoc startup. A long list of jobs can be filtered by job name and / or various properties, helping you find what you are looking for in an instant.

But LaunchControl is not just another .plist editor. Provides a dedicated interface for each launchd configuration key. The interface is adaptable. Displays only the information relevant to the selected job.

While the default edit mode in LaunchControl supports all the documented features of launchd, you may sometimes need to use unofficial functions. Switch to "Expert Mode" and it is set up. Both modes are fully synchronized. Changes in one editor will instantly appear in the other.

Do not waste time trying to figure out why a job does not behave as expected. LaunchControl performs a thorough analysis of your work and will most likely find the problem in an instant and tell you how to fix it. It provides most of the functionality of the launch ctl command line utility, everything you need to create, edit, delete or debug launch services and even includes a log viewer, so you do not have to turn on and Create custom queries.
